Announcement on the revised “Interpretation of Technical requirements for the regulated electrical products by Ministerial ordinance” as of September 18th 2014(Sep.22. 2014)

As of September 18th 2014, revised “Interpretation of Technical requirements for the regulated electrical products by Ministerial ordinance”(See Table 2 for the summary) was promulgated.
JET takes following action for its service based on the revision of the Interpretation.

1. PSE Conformity Inspection

For the following electrical products (See in Table 1) whose date of application for the PSE Conformity Inspection is after September 18^th 2014, the inspection of those products is conducted based on the revised Interpretation promulgated. Samples and their Inspection fee for the test of the relevant electrical products are required.
If the products are found to be incompliance with the revised Interpretation, products applied for the inspection until 31^st May 2015(scheduled) during the transition period(One year after enforcement: till 17^th September 2015) are possible to apply again for the Inspection with the Interpretation before revision and issue conformity certificate for the PSE Conformity Inspection. However, please note that products which are found to be incompliance with the revised Interpretation cannot be imported after 18th September 2015.
In addition, products with conformity certificate within the period of validity are not necessary to apply for the Inspection but you are requested to check the compliance with the revised Interpretation till 17^th September 2015 based on the obligation to comply with the Interpretation.

2. S-JET Certification

Customers of S-JET Certification service, whose products are listed on the Table 1 are requested to apply for test on revised standards and to finalize till 17th September 2015.

3. CMJ Registration (Test for trucking of Attachment plugs)

We have a certification service(model by model) of attachment plugs having resistance to trucking which is also registered to CMJ. Please use it as one of effective means to testify to follow the revision standards made at this time.
